Before I get to a few of the images, a few thoughts if you're reflecting back on your own 2015 (or just skip down to the pics if you prefer!).
I find it all too easy just to think about accomplishments. Perhaps because that's the normal review process in most companies. And accomplishments should be part of it, but I think it's also missing a major part of how we learn and develop. Sometimes we have to risk and fail and learn in order to grow. Maybe you had some disappointments and didn't achieve all you planned or hoped in 2015. Maybe you had some difficult issues or pain to deal with. Maybe you progressed more in terms of strength of character than you did in terms of outward success. So we shouldn't feel bad about a missed personal goal if there's more important stuff going on.
Much of my year was centered around moving from Paris to New York, so I didn't do much other traveling this year. There was still plenty going on though and here are a few of my favorite images from the year:
