Although I haven't spend a great amount of time there yet, I like the east village in Manhattan a lot. I like the diversity and the character of the place, packed with small independent shops and cafes. There are some great little corners to find, whether it's the small cemetery or piece of street art or tiny cafe.
I had been talking to Ania about a photoshoot involving smoking, using the smoke to add another visual element to hopefully enhance the mood of the image. I thought it would suit the east village backdrops.
These are all shot on my Fujifilm XT-10 at 56mm.
