Fear, Words and Pictures
Sorry for the gap in posting, I've been aiming to post every week but wow, 3 weeks, I didn't realize it had been so long.
No excuses. Actually, I did think of a few excuses. I was sick for a few days, switching from shivering to sweating every hour or so, a little like our current NYC weather. Client commitments, family commitments, there can always be reasons. But it's always possible to make time too.
And a kind of fear comes into it too. Fear that I won't have anything interesting to say when I sit down to write. Or that it will be hard and painful to extract the words, kicking and screaming from my thought processes or rough journal notes.
It's all dumb fear of course. I enjoy writing when I sit down to it. The words come when I give them a chance. And there are always ideas. So enough excuses.

And if you happen to be local to Jersey City, I also have some prints on display at the moment in the wonderful Bucket & Bay craft gelato store.
