I agreed to meet Lizzie outside the wonderful Shakespeare & Company bookshop by the Seine, and we walked from there around a few of my favourite photoshoot locations in central Paris.
We talked a lot about faith and I wanted to capture a portrait that would include some symbolic reference, so we quietly took a few images inside the old church of Saint Séverin.
She was carrying a ridiculously heavy bag but still seemed full of energy, and even introduced me to a great photo spot near the Pompidou Centre that I'm sure I'll use on future shoots.
My personal favourite from the shoot though is the image below. It's just her, in shallow focus with no jewellery and no background and just the slightest hint of a smile, more in her eyes than her mouth.
