Tonight - 24 Hours of Street Photography

We start in a few hours. 24 hours straight on the streets of Manhattan, from midnight to midnight. That's the plan anyway. It’s been a while now since I did my last 24 hour walk. I was tired at the end of that and I was probably a lot fitter at the time, so it should be an interesting challenge, physically as well as creatively.

The project aim is to document humanity, so I’m hoping for some interesting moments and interactions with a cross section of New Yorkers. We may stay in Manhattan, although might get across the Brooklyn Bridge too. It’s tempting to make a trip out to Flushing or Bushwick or Coney, but 24 hours suddenly doesn’t seem so long when you take a chunk out to sit on a subway train.

If you'd like to follow along, I’ll post an Instagram story every so often with updates. See you on the other side, hopefully with some interesting stories and images to share from a very full day in NYC.
