A Potter’s House

The Potter’s House charity in Guatemala define 8 different forms of poverty that are often connected to each other and affect the majority of the population. The underdogs that we tend to ignore and forget.
We had only a week there, in Guatemala City, to help Potter’s House to build a small house, to give one family running water and the chance to move from their corrugated iron shack. I originally went as a volunteer to help build the house, but it quickly became apparent that a better way to help was to photograph, to give Potter’s House the images they needed to better tell the stories of the issues and their work.
