Please, Siri?

Me: “Hey Siri, lights off”

Siri: “I’m ready to do that”

(Lights stay on)

Me: “Err, ok, do it now”

Siri: “Done”

(Lights stay on)

Me: “Hey Siri, please turn off the lights”

Siri: silence

(Lights turn off)

Is there a Siri dark mode that I turned on accidentally?! When ChatGPT and it’s peers are writing essays and coding and creating art work, surely it’s time for an upgrade to Siri. Or maybe it just wants to be a creative too.

For now, our ‘smart home’ remains amusingly unintelligent.
